Bailey & Sons was founded in 1872 by the Bailey Family down Castle Street, Berkhamsted. In 1929 Mr Sparkes became a partner in the business. When he died sadly in 1968 his wife continued until she felt the time had come to pass the business on. To keep the business family run, the Hewitt’s purchased it in May 1981. Bailey & Sons was very run down and after re-energising the shop within two years it had turned it into a thriving business. In November 1983 the move to the premises we are at now at 9 Lower Kings Road took place. It was closer to the town centre and we built a large extension enabling us to expand our beautiful stock. Our Promise to you: At Bailey & Sons, our dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to advise on that special purchase or on the smallest of jobs. Knowledge, gained from years of association with the jewellery and horological profession, means that you are assured of first class advice and service. You are most welcome to come in and browse one of the finest collections of jewellery in the area. From our extensive range you will find the perfect small gift right through to exclusive fine jewellery. Every item is examined closely to ensure that the quality of stones and workmanship passes our exacting standards. We never compromise on quality. We can custom make Bespoke Jewellery to order. Which either involves re-modelling the jewellery you already have, or begin a new piece to your own design by first selecting fine diamonds and other precious gemstones. Whether you are looking for fine jewellery, wedding rings, engagement rings, silver jewellery, watches or a gift we invite you to visit your local family jewellers in Berkhamsted. A fourth generation family business with a simple aim: To provide a fabulous range of course with exceptional customer service.
