Designers from established international talent Shaun Leane to rising stars Lucy Quartermaine, Andrew Geoghegan and Isabella Liu, received positive feedback for their latest creations showcased at the CMJ August Trade Event.

Shaun Leane, long established as one of Britain’s leading jewellery designers, and widely know for his collaborations with fashion designer Alexander McQueen, presented vermeil pieces from his Quill collection.

He has achieved strong sales of Quill after Meghan Markle wore his Quill earrings last year.

Leane reported brisk enquiries and orders at the show, as did Isabella Liu who launched her Butterfly Lovers collection at the event.

Lucy Quartermaine received glowing feedback from retailers for her emotive Teardrop collection in silver, and her silver armour rings.

“Teardrop pieces are very practical and comfortable to wear. They’re eyecatching, at amazing price points,” she said.

Andrew Geoghegan received orders for his extraordinary diamond satellite ring, and steady enquiries for his kite cut cocktail rings.

He showcased a kite cut amethyst and spoke of plans to introduce smoky quartz and peridot to his kite cut cocktail ring collection.

Alexander Davis, a graduate biochemist, saw enquiries for his Atomic collection, inspired by molecules.

“People love the tactile nature of these pieces and their visual impact,” he said.
