CMJ approved retailer, Jeremy France Jewellers, a beloved independent business in Winchester, recently celebrated a remarkable milestone: nine of its valued colleagues have collectively dedicated over 130 years of service to the company. These dedicated team members have been the cornerstone of the business’s success, ensuring that the company’s legacy of excellence in craftsmanship and customer service continues to thrive. The occasion was marked by a celebratory dinner held at Winchesters’ Hotel Du Vin, where the company took the time to honour their loyal staff and reflect on the extraordinary achievements over the years.
The staff at Jeremy France Jewellers are a testament to the company’s strong, family-oriented culture. Seven of the nine employees have been with the company for over 10 years, demonstrating their commitment and loyalty to the business. This level of service and dedication is a rare find in today’s fast-paced, constantly changing world. Jeremy France, who retired in 2018 joined the team to celebrate, stating “I see Jeremy France Jewellers as a teaching business. I wanted to create a culture where the team want to teach newer colleagues and help them to thrive. We work on an ethos of sharing and learning to create exceptional and knowledgeable team members who can give the best service to our clients.”
Victoria, a repair and production co-ordinator, celebrated over 25 years or service, being labelled by Harriet France, Director as ‘the beating heart of the building’. The most remarkable milestone of all, will come in January 2026, when Jeremy France Jewellers will celebrate an astounding 30 years of service from one of their goldsmiths. Miss France said “Suzie’s commitment and consistency has been unwavering throughout the change the company has been through in the past 30 years. Always calm, meticulous and a perfectionist, Suzie continues to be an exceptional member of the workshop team we have in store”
In addition to the impressive length of service among the team, Jeremy France Jewellers has also recently garnered national recognition for the outstanding abilities of its staff. For the past two years in a row, the company has been proud to see two of its employees honoured as Sales Person of the Year by the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ). This recognition is an incredible achievement, highlighting the exceptional customer service, dedication, and skill that these individuals bring to their roles.
At the dinner celebration, both award-winning employees, Petra and Sandra were awarded for their 10 years of service. They were Recognized for their hard work, professional development and exceptional service.
