Specialist jewellery insurance broker TH March has been included in the prestigious 2024 Insurance Business UK Top Insurance Employers, a comprehensive roundup that highlights the best in the industry.Β
As an impartial authority in the insurance sector, Insurance Business UK conducted exhaustive research to identify and showcase the industry’s top performers. In this thorough assessment, for the fourth year, TH March has emerged as one of the distinguished contributors to the industry.Β
Insurance Business UKβs 30+ strong Intelligence Unit determined the winners by following a rigorous process, which included interviewing objective industry professionals and conducting extensive research. The nationwide survey asked staff in the industry to rate their employersβ performance, based on everything from compensation matters and benefits to diversity, employee development and culture. To be considered, each organisation had to reach a minimum number of employee responses based on overall size. Organisations that achieved 80% or greater average satisfaction rating from employees were named Top Insurance Employers for 2024.Β
Jo Morgan, Regional Director of HR at TH March, said: βWe are so pleased to have been recognised as a Top Insurance Employer for a fourth time! We have done a lot of work over the past 12 months on a variety of initiatives, all with the common aim to support TH March colleagues. These initiatives include recognition as being committed to being a menopause-friendly employer. We hold Menopause Matters virtual workshops every eight weeks, inviting external speakers, to facilitate conversations and share best practice and experiences around perimenopause and menopause.Β
“We are currently running a series of bespoke workshops throughout January and February providing ED&I Training for all, covering diversity and moving from unconscious bias to conscious inclusion. In 2023 we introduced ESV, which provides staff the opportunity to spend time volunteering in their local communities.Β We have recently achieved the Wellbeing at Work Award Bronze Level and have an established Wellbeing Committee with Wellbeing Champion volunteers from each branch across the company. They signpost various resources to promote and raise awareness of physical health, lifestyle choices, mental health and wellbeing.Β We have [also] signed the Mindful Employer Charter for employers positive about mental health and have 11% of our workforce as trained MHFAs with a further 4% undergoing training in February.Β
“I truly believe happy employees are the core of a successful company and we will continue to engage, develop and support our staff so that they are able to provide the best possible service to our clients.βΒ
Simon Dawe, managing director at TH March added: βThis recognition underscores TH March’s dedication to industry excellence and our continued commitment to delivering exceptional results. Through our inclusive policies, key initiatives, and impactful awareness campaigns we work every day to create an environment in which everyone feels valued, connected, respected and encouraged to be their authentic selves.”
