CMJ appoints Jo Bourne in new Projects Coordinator role

The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has appointed Jo Bourne in its newly created Projects Coordinator role.

The CMJโ€™s Project Coordinator role has been created to support the CMJโ€™s numerous events and membership development focus, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in line with the CMJโ€™s strategy.

Jo has worked in the jewellery industry for nearly 30 years in Independent Jewellers and CMJ members WH Peplows and Henns.

On joining the CMJ, Jo said: โ€œIโ€™m thrilled to become part of the team and contribute the trade experience and knowledge Iโ€™ve gained over the years to an integral organisation in the jewellery industry. Having worked in businesses that are CMJ members in my previous roles, I understand the key values of the groupโ€™s support to retailers and suppliers so Iโ€™m really excited for this new challenge.โ€

Amber Saunders, CMJ Director of Membership Development, said: โ€œWe believe that Jo will be a fantastic asset to the CMJ head office team. Her experience and understanding of the industry will be invaluable and we are delighted to have her on board. CMJ members will be able to welcome her to the group at our upcoming Spring Trade Event in March, where will be celebrating the CMJโ€™s 40th anniversary.โ€

Please join us in offering Jo a warm welcome to the CMJ team.
