The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has appointed Jo Bourne in its newly created Projects Coordinator role.
The CMJβs Project Coordinator role has been created to support the CMJβs numerous events and membership development focus, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in line with the CMJβs strategy.
Jo has worked in the jewellery industry for nearly 30 years in Independent Jewellers and CMJ members WH Peplows and Henns.
On joining the CMJ, Jo said: βIβm thrilled to become part of the team and contribute the trade experience and knowledge Iβve gained over the years to an integral organisation in the jewellery industry. Having worked in businesses that are CMJ members in my previous roles, I understand the key values of the groupβs support to retailers and suppliers so Iβm really excited for this new challenge.β
Amber Saunders, CMJ Director of Membership Development, said: βWe believe that Jo will be a fantastic asset to the CMJ head office team. Her experience and understanding of the industry will be invaluable and we are delighted to have her on board. CMJ members will be able to welcome her to the group at our upcoming Spring Trade Event in March, where will be celebrating the CMJβs 40th anniversary.β
Please join us in offering Jo a warm welcome to the CMJ team.
