BALL explorer Ash Dykes completes his journey along the Yangtze river

Ash Dykes, adventurer and member of the BALL Explorers Club, has completed his greatest expedition yet with the help of his BALL Engineer II Magneto S timepiece.

The British explorer has become the first person to walk the 4,000 miles of the Yangtze River, the third longest in the world, as well as the longest river in the world to flow through a single country.

Throughout his one year expedition he walked more than 8 million steps and faced a number of unpredictable climates. from the freezing temperatures of the Jianggendiru Glacier on the Tibetan Plateau to a more tropical environment near Shanghai.

This accomplishment marks Ash’s 3rd world-first record.
