Fine diamond jewellery Andre Michael Ltd has boosted stocks of its classically designed certified diamond studs for retailers this Christmas.

“Andre Michael is betting heavily on its core range of diamond stud earrings before Christmas. We have brought in more as last year worked very well for us, and so did the previous year,” said Himanshu Shah, director of Andre Michael.

“This year we thought we’d be more prepared. We feel there is a real hunger out there for this good value core range of studs.”

Andre Michael offers bezel set diamond stud earrings in brilliant round and princess cuts in classic 4- and 6-claw designs weighing 50, 30, 25, 20 and 10 points, set in 9- and 18-carat white and yellow gold.

“These classic, well-made, everyday items sell very well. The butterflies are strong and are much better quality compared with a lot of cheap imports coming into the UK market,” Mr Shah said.

The stud earrings also have the option to be certified by an independent laboratory group, Solitaire Gemmological Laboratories, who will certify the entire range including the smallest earrings at 0.10 carat.

Andre Michael also offers a matching range of classically designed pendants with the studs.
