Supplier & Events Manager Garry Lane and Marketing & Communications Officer Nicola Austin recently visited the Garmin Europe head office in Southampton on Tuesday 8 May to view some brand new products, tour the impressive facilities and finalise the companies’ improved terms.
For decades, Garmin has pioneered new GPS navigation and wireless devices and applications that are designed for people who live an active lifestyle. Garmin serves five primary business units, including automotive, aviation, fitness, marine, and outdoor recreation. The company is at the forefront of wearable and smartwatch technology, with selected new lines featuring apps Garmin Pay TM and Connect IQ store.
The European office features a notable warehouse, with the company recently investing in capacity expansion efforts, including a brand new £1 million packing and labelling machine (which can identify between different sizes of parcels), to help the team meet the growing demand for the brand’s products.
Following the trade event in March, Garmin have listened to you, the retailer, and have improved their terms and are set to increase their product range, offering you more benefits.
