Ethical jewellery brand Cred has bought the single largest Doré bar of Fairtrade gold recorded so far in response to growing consumer demand.
The biggest shipment to date weighed in at 15.571kgs and contained 82% gold and 16% silver.
The company recently commented about the shipment, “We are already organising another shipment soon, which means the demand for Fairtrade gold is growing. The more people decide to make conscious purchases, the more we can support trades in developing countries and make sure everyone is treated fairly. Thank you everyone for helping us change the world, one ring at a time.”
This follows the launch of their ultimate ethical engagement ring which features Canada Mark diamonds with 100% traceability and also Namibian diamonds.
