Following the success of our Christmas social media competition, we recently launched another competition for Valentine’s Day, offering one lucky retail member the opportunity to win a complete social media campaign designed and created by Facets Creatives and Facets PR.

We received some very creative, funny, honest and open entries from a wide variety of CMJ Retail Members, but we had to give it to Peter Bramwell from Bramwells for the following poem:

“In Bramwells ancient jewellery shop our Social media’s not much cop,

We’d like to show the younger set how much joy that they can get,

To buy their loved one something nice - never mind about the price,

They think it’s cheaper on the net but here you handle what you get,

You see the tarnish and the scratches, but at least you know the colour matches,

And if it doesn’t even fit we’ll just get on and alter it,

After that it’s wrapped in ribbon, all pretty, ready to be given,

To your beloved Valentine (Softened up with flowers and wine),

What we need is someone sweet to teach us how to send a tweet,

To get the love birds through our door and spend their money like never before,

Rose from Facets PR is now working with the team at Bramwells to create the brief for the campaign and Facets Creative will be involved in creating the assets and images for the posts!
