The Company of Master Jewellers has transferred ownership of Facets PR agency to its Managing Director Sarah Carpin, who will run the agency as a private limited company.
FACETS PR, previously trading as CMJ Media, was launched as a specialist jewellery and watch PR and marketing agency by CMJ in 2011, under the leadership of Sarah Carpin. Facets PR clients include Clogau, Sif Jakobs Jewellery, Hockley Mint, Yoko London and more. The new limited company, Facets Communications Ltd, will continue to trade as FACETS PR from its offices in London.
Facets PR has been trading for four years as an in-house division of CMJ and services clients from within and outside CMJ. Sarah Carpin was offered the opportunity to purchase the business from CMJ, as part of the Group’s restructuring plans that focus on CMJ’s core business following the recent profitability review. “I am delighted to be able to take ownership of the agency I launched over six years ago,” said Carpin. “Together with my team of talented staff and shareholders, which include FACETS PR Head of PR Anna Chapman, we have exciting plans to scale up the agency with a wider client portfolio and to work within other international markets.”
As part of the business deal CMJ will receive an initial twelve months’ worth of strategic services from the agency which will be planned and focused towards the CMJ Retail Members.
