As one of the 75th Anniversary Celebration events, Allum & Sidaway held a 2-day event in their Salisbury store on 15th and 16th of September, featuring special guest jewellers showcasing the finest Diamonds, coloured gemstones, watches and gifts, along with bubbly and cake.
A unique competition was held exclusively for this event featuring a distinctive 1 meter tall ice sculpture with four BERING watches embedded in the ice. Allum & Sidaway used Facebook live to promote the competition and were overwhelmed by the response.
Allum & Sidaway’s Marketing Director, Abi Davies, commented: “The BERING ice sculpture competition attracted over 1200 entries in the space of 12 hours, with a reach of over 40,000. We used a combination of live and recorded video alongside photos throughout the day to maintain activity.
I believe it was so popular as anyone could enter. Although the sculpture was situated in our Salisbury store, we wanted it to be an inclusive social media activity and this enabled all of our Facebook followers to take part. We are very grateful to BERING watches for their support and hope that sales increase even further as a result of the brand activity.”
