The HD Group, the parent company of the Hot Diamonds, Emozioni and Anais Paris jewellery brands, has reported a sales increase for both July and August as UK independents welcome their AW17 jewellery ranges.
The jewellery company has seen sales increase in July and August by 28%, compared with the equivalent period last year.
Adryan Cesswell, head of commerce, comments: “Our UK retail partners have reacted very positively to the newness we are offering across all three of our brands and the buy-in has comfortably exceeded the results we experienced last year. We are particularly pleased with this growth as market conditions are not particularly favourable and so growth is not easy to come by”.
Head of independent sales, Andrew Mills, adds: “Our sell-in has been exceptional throughout July and August, but what is even more encouraging is that retailers are already repeating on the newness we have recently delivered, which points towards a strong sell-through. This bodes very well for the Christmas performance that retailers can expect to see with the HD group brand portfolio.”
Hot Diamonds new collection Bliss is reportedly being particularly well received by its retail partners. The feminine designs within this range are set with white topaz. For Emozioni, Eleganza is being cited by many retailers as the most influential new collection from the brand for many years. And for Anais Paris, the addition of Happy Stones has provided a cocktail of gemstones that customers can add to their lockets as a fun and commercial addition.
