Award-winning British jewellery designer C W Sellors is pleased to announce that they will bringing their all-new collection, House Style, to the August trade event.
This brand new collection is inspired by the landmark exhibition tracing five centuries of fashion at Chatsworth house, drawing inspiration from exquisite jewellery owned by the family over generations; from exotic headdresses to diamond tiaras and the renowned insect brooches which belonged to Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire.
The Four Inspired Designs:
1) Chatelaine Collection
Inspired by an early 19th Century decorative chatelaine from the Chatsworth House collection (bottom left), these exotic and fanciful pendants represent a direct interpretation of authentic House Style fashion.
2) Palmette & Diamond Collection
The Lotus and Palmette diamond tiara provided the creative sparkle and design motifs for this range of glittering diamond jewellery, destined to become family heirlooms to pass on to future generations.
3) Chatsworth Heritage Collection
Subtle yet distinctive jewellery designs featuring the House Style motif provides a popular design for both a pendant and brooch, as modeled by exhibition curator Hamish Bowles above.
4) Insect Collection
A wonderful inspiration for many pieces in House Style was the Duchess Deborah’s insect collection, which included moths, caterpillars, spiders, wasps, dragonflies, beetles, bees, butterflies and even a grasshopper.
