Fine jewellery manufacturer Charles Green has invested £50,000 into a new purpose-built design suite due to increase in bespoke jewellery demand.

Due to rapid growth in their bespoke jewellery department, Charles Green has invested £50,000 into redeveloping a whole area of its factory into a new, purpose-built design suite.

The demand for British made, luxury diamond jewellery has increased exponentially over the past year, with Charles Green reporting a rise of just over 100% in bespoke jewellery sales in Q1 this year compared to the same period in 2016.

The new design suite currently houses three full time CAD designers who work on creating one-off bespoke pieces of jewellery, and three highly skilled and proficient diamond setters, who work on the bespoke pieces and Charles Green’s own ‘Lux Collection’. The design suite is equipped with all of the latest micro setting technology and state of the art machinery. Every detail of the suite has been built to maximise the quality of their craftmanship, right down to the specially customised work benches.

Director of Charles Green, Oli Sutton, comments: “The creation of our design suite and micro setting workshop has had huge benefits to our business. We strive to provide the finest quality, British made jewellery, supported by a quick and flexible service. The investment into our design suite, and also the people who work within, help us towards achieving this goal.”
