Jewellery insurance specialist T H March has warned that during the last few days, inspections teams from The Government’s Pensions Regulator (TPR) have visited dozens of businesses in and around Manchester.
T H March have reported that the checks have been carried out at dozens of businesses in and around Manchester and are a way of checking whether qualifying staff are being given their workplace pension entitlement.
Steve Clemence, Chartered Financial Planner at T H March commented: “The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is a friendly regulator but if you haven’t complied with your auto-enrolment duties you could be in trouble.”
Employers are only being notified a couple of days in advance of a visit from TPR, and so T H March are advising businesses to comply now.
If you need any guidance or extra information T H March can be contacted on 01822 855 555 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
