This vacancy is for an in-store Senior Sales Consultant/Office Manager role, reporting to the Operations Manager, with the successful appointee already having experience within a retail jeweller setting. The position would be either 28 (4 days) or 35 (5 days) hours per week and the salary would be pro rota and dependent on experience. As we are a family owned business, we operate over 6 days and are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
You will ideally hold the JET 1 and 2 qualification and you should know your way around current watch and jewellery brands - the wider your knowledge within this area the better. A knowledge of stock keeping/business accounts and stock control would also be an advantage. As Senior Sales Consultant you will lead the sales team and you’ll constantly be looking at proactive ways that can potentially produce additional store revenues.
You will have high store standards and you’re the person that those with less experience could reliably look to you to guide them on customer service and store standards. You’ll also constantly be looking at proactive ways that can potentially produce additional revenue for the store.
