The Annual Hallmarking Review at Birmingham School of Jewellery proved to be a successful event for all members of the jewellery industry. Stella Layton presented an overview of last year’s hallmarking figures and the trends for 2015.
The event provided a unique opportunity for the industry’s key figures to network with each other and discover forthcoming projects at the Birmingham Assay office.
Students at the School of Jewellery were delighted to learn that they could register their hallmark for free at Assay Office Birmingham and have their very own punch mark created from £70.
The Birmingham School of Jewellery has also launched its brand new website to celebrate its 125th anniversary. Visit the website at www.bcu.ac.uk/jewellery125
